Nello A. Rossi, MD

My name is Nello A. Rossi, MD. I was born in Pekin, Illinois and grew up in Manito, Illinois, a small rural town. I received a Bachelor of Science degree from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, with a major in Psychology in 1973. I received a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from Bradley University in 1976, during which time I co-authored several published articles dealing with Addiction research. I started medical school at the Autonomous University of Guadalajara in 1976 and subsequently transferred to the University of Illinois, Peoria School of Medicine, where I received my Doctor of Medicine degree in 1981. My Internship was in Spokane, Washington, at Internal Medicine Spokane. I came to Phoenix to do my Residency in Internal Medicine at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center from 1982 to 1984. I became a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine in 1984. I also became a Diplomate of the American Board of Emergency Medicine in 1989 and worked as an Emergency Physician for 20 years.

Phoenix Service Areas

Locally, I worked in the Emergency Rooms at the old Maryvale Samaritan Hospital, St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center and Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center. I also worked part-time for 10 years in the Emergency Room at Foothill Presbyterian Hospital in Glendora, California. I was voted a “Top Doc” in Emergency Medicine in the May 1997 issue of Phoenix Magazine.

I left Emergency Medicine in 2004 and became interested in non-invasive Anti-Aging Aesthetic Medicine. With the encouragement of my three sisters (all of whom are enthusiastic patients), my husband Zavier and I opened Willo MediSpa in March 2008 just as the Great Recession hit. Thru the subsequent hard times, we became established and have continued to grow and thrive. In May 2013 we moved into our own building at 201 East Monterey Way, Phoenix, Arizona 85012. In March 2018 we celebrated our 10th year of operation.

Zavier

I was born in Jefferson City, Missouri. After high school, I attended Lincoln University in Jefferson City and graduated in 2004 with a BS degree majoring in Chemistry. I moved to Phoenix in 2006. Nello and I started Willo MediSpa together in 2008. I am the Office Manager, Boy Friday, Receptionist and Computer Geek for Willo MediSpa. I am the face behind the desk and the voice on the phone, the person who will schedule your appointment, check you out and make sure you receive all of your Brilliant Distinctions^® discounts. I am also well versed on our skin care products and can answer your questions about them.

In Memory of Muzzy

November 30, 2004 – November 14, 2017

In the office, Muzzy would carry charts and lead patients to their room. She would comfort patients who were nervous about getting injections such as BOTOX^® Cosmetic treatments or JUVÉDERM^® XC dermal fillers. She was always up for a good belly rub. Her passion was swimming and diving and submerging to the bottom of a pool to retrieve her ball.

Izzie

My name is Izzie. I was born August 19, 2017. My mother is a Chocolate Labrador and my father is a German Shepard. I am a Service Dog in Training. Since I am still a puppy, I can be rambunctious and hyperactive. I want to play all of the time, and I love to chase my tail. However I am starting to calm down and understand my role in the office. Eventually, I will greet patients at the door and keep them entertained while they are receiving treatments.
